Walk around Lake Calhoun
Last Monday, everybody had the night off and the boys were at their father's, so the three of us decided to do the three-mile walk around Lake Calhoun, the largest lake in Minneapolis' chain of lakes.
Sarah and mommy waded in the water on the south side of the lake. We watched people out on their sailboards and sailboats, and Sarah was very interested in the large dead carp on the shoreline. After wading, we saw Bob Lincoln riding his bike around the lake, but he didn't hear us yell at him.
After walking for a couple of miles, we stopped to rest at the Tin Fish Cafe on the northeast side of the lake. Root beer floats for mom and dad, and a Spongebob popsicle for Sarah.
While mom and dad enjoyed the scenery and some people-watching ...
